Drifter Spirits is a craft spirits portfolio that contains several high-quality craft liquor brands, often loved and bought by bartenders to create some of the finest cocktails in the world.

When the pandemic hit and bars and restaurants were closed down, the typical route to market and primary revenue stream for the brands within Drifter Spirits was completely disrupted. They needed to get their spirits to consumers in a safe and convenient way that didn’t involve buying an entire bottle of a niche liquor.

The Solution —

Drifter Spirits pivoted into the canned cocktail space with something truly unique. Teaming up with world-renowned bartenders and sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, each cocktail is a modern twist on a classic recipe.

Americano created visual concepts for the can, tested between each round of design, and arrived at a design that honored the Drifter Spirits brand while evoking the golden era of travel inspired by vintage travel posters. Each flavor is paired with an illustration of the classic cocktail origin and lists the ingredients and their sources with full transparency.
